Streamyx Combo Goes Mobile Packages

  1. Package is valid from 15th November 2008 and onwards.
  2. Speed of service is at ‘best effort’ and subject to availability and technical testing.
  3. Package is valid for RESIDENTIAL and for NEW & EXISTING COMBO customers. Only available in Klang Valley until further notice.
  4. This package is valid for SUCCESSFUL Streamyx installation & activation only and bond to EXISTING STREAMYX COMBO TERMS & CONDITIONS.
  5. Minimum subscription is 12 months.
  6. RM10 per month will be charge to customer as long as they subscribed Add on Mobility package.
  7. Customer will be provided free wireless modem in this package with installation.
  8. Warranty of wireless modem will be 12 months from the date of installation.
  9. One time installation fee for wireless modem is RM95.
  10. DIY (Do it yourself) or Self Install option (Courier & Self collect) is available to UPGRADE/DOWNGRADE (EXISTING) customers only.
  11. Self Install option (upgrade/downgrade) applicable for SELECTED Streamyx Combo package only. Refer table below:

  12. Customer with Self install option will be provided with complete set of wireless modem and wireless modem configuration guide.
  13. 7 days auto post completed (Self-collect) and 10 days auto post completed (Courier) will be applicable for Self Install option.
  14. Should customer decide to end/terminate Mobility Add On Package within first 12 months, handling fees of RM150 will be charged.
  15. Streamyx Zone is wireless broadband Internet access service available at public places such as shopping malls, coffee shops, eating outlets etc. Previously known as Streamyx Hotspot.
  16. For Streamyx Zone access, customer can enjoy up to 384Kbps of internet access.
  17. Streamyx Zone is subject to service availability and coverage area.
  18. Customer enjoy a single sign-on for both Streamyx and Streamyx Zone internet access.
  19. For new customers, login & password for Streamyx Zone will appear in Confirmation slip.
  20. For existing customers, login & password for Streamyx Zone will be sent via Streamyx’s email.
  21. The 1st bill received will include an installation fee of RM95, a one-time service activation fee of RM75, a one-month subscription fee (from date of service activation), an advance charge of the 2nd month subscription fee and RM10 stamp duty fee. (if any)
  22. New Streamyx termination policy is applicable.
